While United Methodist Homes is not the same as a United Methodist retirement community, they both provide faith-centered senior care. These communities are found in New York and Pennsylvania. United Methodist Homes offers elderly people care in their homes, as well as retirement communities. These are also the locations of senior centers.

Arbor Acres

If you're looking for a retirement community near Winston-Salem NC, the Arbor Acres United Methodist Senior Community is a great choice. It is located near shops, restaurants, cultural activities, and other amenities. There are many recreational activities available. You can play pickleball, go on group trips, or enjoy concerts.

Aldersgate is home to 120 apartments and cottages. Residents have the opportunity to take art classes or plant gardens. Residents are encouraged to spend time with neighbors. The community also provides access to a doctor's office and beach. Staff are friendly, and prices are affordable. One complaint residents have is the constant increase in the cost of living. This may mean some residents are losing their savings.

Wesley Village

United Methodist Homes is a nonprofit organization that operates multi-level senior living communities in the Greater Binghamton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre regions of New York and Pennsylvania, as well as a continuing care retirement community in Tunkhannock, PA. It employs more than 1,000 people and serves over 1,100 residents in its four locations.


The United Methodist Homes in Pittston, PA has three residential options, including independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing. A new wing is available to assist residents in rehabilitation. Residents can receive medical care for aging-related issues. The community is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) and follows Christian values.

Care Suites of Edina

Care Suites is an assisted living community that offers memory care and respite services in Edina. Its licensed nursing staff is always available to provide 24-hour care to residents. Every resident is evaluated and has an individualized care plan. There is a five to one ratio of staff to residents in the community. In addition, residents enjoy spiritual enrichment opportunities like monthly Holy Communion and access to on-site chaplains.

The facility offers a friendly atmosphere, with interactive staff and customized care options. The dining area offers a spacious area for dining and an extensive menu. Caregiver who need extra support are also eligible for respite services. Respite care can be provided on-site for long-term residents or those recovering from illness.

Epworth Villa

Epworth Villa, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) retirement community, is located in Northwest Oklahoma City. It features distinctive garden homes, cottages and apartment residences. The community offers a full continuum in care and convenient services. Epworth Villa is a Life Plan Community that offers a wide range of amenities and services to make your life at Epworth Villa enjoyable.

This continuing care retirement community is affiliated to the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church. There are more than 200 apartments and rooms spread over 40 acres. The community's campus is split into independent living cottages, assisted apartment living, and a nursing center. There is also a chapel, gift store, and dining room.
